Lovely video! I've been combing RUclips for more content on this camera, and this is definitely a top tier video demonstrating its strengths. Thanks for the informative lesson in portrait photography.
I was able to order mine yesterday. Had to look far and wide to find one. I even called the online retailer and had the clerk go back and actually put his hands on one. This Lens sacrifices nothing as far as image and optical quality from a V series lens. It is perfect for my work and you have only confirmed it. Thanks and you definitely took some great portrait shots with it. It is an amazing lens. I previously passed on the 65 and 80 but been looking far and wide for this one and for good reason. I have the 90 but wanted this as soon as it was announced and I saw the first reviews and test photos from this lens. Great to see you at work and your lighting options and results. A lesson in itself.
Almost 13 minutes of pure explosive and straight to the point dynamic learning. Very inspiring. Your lighting and framing and composition create some strong pieces of work. The way you direct your models and your energy in front of the camera draw me in as a viewer. The production quality as well as the information that you’re sharing keep me watching. I have an editorial profile shoot booked in the morning, I’m going to use some of your pointers and maybe some of the poses too! 😊 Thanks 👍📸🎥
This, folks, is how you came to master portrait photography... like it or not. Yes the camera is costly, but it would not be a Hasselblad ! When a young eager photographer I found myself in Sweden, for good reasons. And got the chance of using those cameras for weeks, without limitations... this is how it goes when you meet the nicest people. Only downside was to load films in, other than that : I was living in a dream ! You have to experience it to fully understand how deep you find yourself immersed in the photograph, and the moment. I'd love to give it a go, digital Hasselblads seem way above the the average rest. Sony have done a great job with those new sensors, they boast a huge dynamic range. For portraiture, you need nothing else and can create no matter the conditions. Well done Hasselblad and Sony, beautifully done Mark !
wow, your English is so easy to understand! I'm from Germany and I'm not particularly good at English, but I can understand every single word! That's impressive! I can hardly understand Americans, for example. By the way, I love your videos! Very cool production and awesome photos! Please never stop❤❤❤
Useful, thank you. Since you were very positive on the 90 f/2.5 V lens about a year ago, I'm curious how you would compare that lens with the 75 f/4 P. Are these two lenses either / or, or is there a rationale for owning both (other than just having deep pockets)?
Interesting, at 5:41 you use the spot AF and not the face detection AF. Do you also experience the face detection very often places the focal plane behind where it should be? The more close up you are the more pronounced the effect is.
Love your work. I have the 90. Now wondering if this would be better. I like street photography. Does that plus studio. Also a lot less expensive. Hmmm…
@@Christopher_D_ I had the 75 for a week and returned it. It just didn’t give me anything I wasn’t already getting from the 90, other the lighter weight. If I didn’t already have the 90, I would probably have kept it. Good luck!
@@stuartshook3614 - yep. I just got the 90v delivered yesterday. I just like the manual focus clutch too much. The shutter isn't too bad after playing with it some.
I love your videos and your ideas for photography mark. One question, do you shoot on manual mode or auto focus? Because I have always got problem with focus. I usually end up with a blurry face in portraits, however I dont have flashlight and I know it can have great impact on focus
@@dinein1970 you don't buy a RollsRoyce for a speed either. But it still can do 0-100 in 4.5 seconds. I don't see any reason why $10k camera can't be fast.

Loved this video, thank you! I am trying to decide between the XCD 90V and this one. The 75P being half the price is of course tempting.
Simply brilliant
The street shot at 2:24 is SICK!!

Great Lens and work🔥👏🏻
Great vid and images mate.
Thank you for your creativity 🔥
Hasselblad🔥🔥🔥
Thank you Mark. 3.4!
Can you please make a tutorial video of how you edited the interior portrait photos with the female models?
Deffo on my Xmas list 😂

fantastic
Fabulous tutorial/review Mark. But what is the mod you are calling a "rice bowl"? Are those gridded beauty dishes? - Thx.

Super video some great inspiration for portrait set ups.
If you don't mind me asking, is the studio backdrop paper ? And what width is it ?
Any particular reason not to use the face recognition of the X2D?

woww the Hasselblad , my Kidneys cant even afford that cam..
Finally an affordable solution for the rest of us!🎉😂
Use the camera viewfinder enhance vision in order to see what the lens actually see. through the lens.
What are you filming on?
Godox makes a trigger for hass?
North London? 👀
Who would ever go 'less Keanu Reeves'? It sounds like a crime
Sony shooter here. This Hasselblad looks painfully slow in this video. Blackout time is hard to accept...
Not a problem here with that. Not a priority.

I don't see any reason why $10k camera can't be fast.
Some of us don't need three hundred photos to sift through at the end of the night.
Did you pay him or did he pay you for the shoot or was it a tfp shoot …!? 😅
I wouldn't say that the camera is accessible to everyone, if you look at the price alone, it's really for the elite unfortunately
If you want it then you will find a way to get it ! 😊
I am pretty sure I have seen this video before by a number of other RUclipsrs, so nothing to see here
